Der weltberühmte Chor "O Fortuna" ist längst ein Star der Filmmusik – doch Carl Orffs gesamtes Werk, basierend auf der mittelalterlichen Sammlung "Carmina Burana" entfaltet seine volle Kraft live im Konzertsaal. Am 6. Juni 2026 bringt ein hochkarätiges Ensemble das Chorwerk im KKL Luzern auf die Bühne – kombiniert mit Ravels mitreissendem "Boléro".

Carmina Burana – Das Orff'sche Chorwerk füllt seit Jahrzehnten Konzertsäle auf der ganzen Welt. Seine Melodien und Rhythmen gehören zum Gemeingut der klassischen Musik, haben aber auch Eingang in die Filmwelt Hollywoods, in die Werbung und die Rockmusik gefunden. The world-famous Concert Hall impresses with its unique acoustics. Designed by New Yorker Russell Johnson, one of the factors responsible for the perfect sound is the optimum 1:1:2 room ratio. In addition, the 24,000 plaster reliefs break up the reflection of sound, multiply it, and scatter it in all directions.
