Finally: On Tuesday, October 3, 2023, pop and singer/songwriter icon Elvis Costello will come to the KKL Luzern for an exclusive concert: The 69-year-old Brit is one of the most talented and intelligent songwriters in music history. Costello's star began to shine at the end of the 70s: If he flirted with the punk aesthetic of the time on his first grandiose albums ("This Year's Model," "My Aim Is True"), shortly thereafter he achieved a commercial breakthrough in his homeland as well as in the U.S. with his band "The Attractions." Numerous collaborations as a musician (Annie Lennox, Brodsky Quartet, Burt Bacharach, Anne Sofie von Otter, The Roots) and as a producer (The Pogues, among others) have made Costello - married to jazz diva Diana Krall since 2003 - one of the most respected musicians of our time. He will come to the KKL Luzern with his long-time companion and pianist Steve Nieve.
