World of Warcraft®: 20 Years of Music
Immerse yourself in a world full of magic, memories and epic soundscapes.
With World of Warcraft®, you’re not just in for a concert – but a journey back to Azeroth, the place where unforgettable adventures began for millions of people.
At the KKL Luzern, the 21st Century Orchestra & Chorus brings this legendary soundscape to life – the orchestra that previously performed the acclaimed world premiere of this concert in Lausanne in September 2024.
Experience a musical journey through the history of Azeroth, lasting around two hours: from the first steps in World of Warcraft® to the latest adventures in Dragonflight. The music carries you through familiar landscapes and defining moments – from the peaceful light of Elwynn Forest to the rugged beauty of Howling Fjord, right through to the most moving moments surrounding Anduin Wrynn and Varian’s sacrifice.
Since its release in 2004, World of Warcraft® has built one of the largest and most passionate communities in the world. A world that has grown steadily, and with it stories that have shaped generations of players. The music has always been more than just a backdrop: it has been the heartbeat, the identity and the emotional force all at once.
Powerful, moving and of overwhelming intensity, the soundtrack unfolds live in all its splendour: monumental orchestral sounds, earthy folk-inspired tones and the sublime power of a grand choir merge into an experience that gets under your skin. Every melody, every harmony brings Azeroth to life anew – bigger, more vibrant and more emotional than ever.
Following its acclaimed premiere in Lausanne and as part of the world tour, this extraordinary concert now invites audiences at the KKL Luzern to become part of this unique celebration.
Experience the music of World of Warcraft® more intensely than ever before.
Epic. Nostalgic. Breathtaking.

The world-famous Concert Hall impresses with its unique acoustics. Designed by New Yorker Russell Johnson, one of the factors responsible for the perfect sound is the optimum 1:1:2 room ratio. In addition, the 24,000 plaster reliefs break up the reflection of sound, multiply it, and scatter it in all directions.
