Funny, irresistible and heartwarming - "Love Actually" ("actually... love") is set in London in the run-up to Christmas and tells a variety of love stories that are interwoven - sometimes romantic, sometimes sad, sometimes silly, but all charming in their own way. After celebrated performances in December 2022, we are presenting this classic once again in this year's Advent season at the KKL Luzern.
Everywhere you look, love seems to be causing chaos. Of the new bachelor prime minister who falls in love 30 seconds after entering Downing Street; of an unsuccessful sandwich delivery man who doesn't stand a chance with the girls in the UK and so moves to Wisconsin; of a jilted writer who flees to the south of France to nurse his broken heart; of an aging rock star who seeks a comeback at any cost; of a bride who is troubled by her husband's best man and a married woman who has problems with her husband; of a student who has a crush on the prettiest girl in school and his stepfather who is in love with the mother of one of his son's classmates.
"Love Actually" has become a beautiful Christmas tradition for many - now you can experience the film in a unique way: The 70-piece City Light Symphony Orchestra performs Craig Armstrong's touching music while the entire film is shown on the big screen.
